1980
The Loughborough Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic opened in The Coneries
1990
Joanne Hartshorn joined the team after working in the NHS
1997
Jo became a partner at the Clinic
2002
Jo took full ownership of the Clinic with a vision for an excellent facility with experienced physios who could treat elite athletes, but also meet the needs of the office worker, recreational athlete or schoolchild
2008
The clinic moved to purpose-built premises on Forest Road, expanding with two specialised clinics; an adolescent clinic for 12-18 year-olds and a migraine/headache, face pain and TMJ clinic
2013
Nevzat joined the team. His experience working with Turkish basketball team (Fenerbahçe S.K.) and Wimbledon tennis players has further developed the elite sport service we offer.
2023
We welcome Jenny Lane and Harsha Gadre to the team. Harsha is a skilled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with a background in rehabilitation and sports. Jenny is a Level 5 Soft Tissue therapist, experienced in massage therapy and corrective exercise therapy.
2025
Over 23 years after Jo took full ownership of the clinic, we joined Pure Physiotherapy! With additional behind-the-scenes support from Pure, we've grown our team, and we're supporting more patients than ever before. You still get the same excellent service you deserve, now with a new logo on the door.
Accessibility:
The front entrance is wheelchair accessible and all public areas are wheelchair accessible as well. However, the rear entrance is accessible by stairs only.
Disabled parking can be found at the front of the clinic, and there is a large car park in the rear.
Facilities:
The clinic has multiple private treatment rooms as well as a small gym area to aid patients with rehabilitation. Our waiting area is comfortable and our receptionists are always friendly and willing to do their best to help you with any enquiries.

The clinic is accessible and based conveniently near Loughborough town centre on Forest Road, off Epinal Way. You can reach the clinic via bus using the number 11, 3 or 129 from Loughborough High Street.
